Kathryn Lawrence

Kathryn Lawrence is an Interior Designer at Brook McIlroy who brings experience working on small to large scale corporate, government, institutional, and recreational projects across Canada. She is a licensed Interior Designer, and a registered member of the Association of Registered Interior Designers of Ontario (ARIDO) and the Interior Designers of Canada (IDC). Outside of her work, Kathryn volunteers her time to various social impact initiatives including her own creative based initiative in Jamaica, her home country, to support young professionals and to pay it forward.

Danny Roy

Danny Roy is an Associate, Intern Architect and Planner at Brook McIlroy and is part of the Indigenous Design Studio. He is a member of English River Dene Nation in Treaty 10 territory and Cree-Métis from the northern community of Sakitawak (Île-à-la-Crosse, Saskatchewan). He holds a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree from the University of Saskatchewan in Regional and Urban Planning. Danny was formally a Senior Regional and Community Planner practicing in Saskatchewan and has had the opportunity to work with numerous municipalities and Indigenous communities to help develop sustainable planning frameworks. This included being co-author and facilitator to the award-winning City of Prince Albert Municipal Cultural Action Plan and project lead to the Black Lake First Nation Community Land-Use Plan.

Hamza Vora

Hamza Vora is an Architect with over seven years of experience in various scales of projects, ranging from small-scale exhibition design and digital fabrication to the design of residential towers and master plans. Hamza has worked with clients in both public and private sectors, including the University of Toronto, social housing providers, private developers, and natural history museums.

William Vivas

William Vivas is an intermediate architect with Brook McIlroy and holds a Bachelor of Environmental Design and a Master of Architecture from the University of Manitoba. He has 13 years of experience with a wide spectrum of projects throughout Manitoba and British Columbia, including airport expansion projects, schools, daycares, health centres, multi-family housing, and institutional renovations. Several of these projects have achieved LEED certification.

Courtney Allary

Courtney is an Interior Designer at Brook McIlroy with over 6 years of experience in design and research. She graduated from the University of Manitoba, earning her Bachelor of Environmental Design and Master of Interior Design degrees. Courtney is registered member of the Manitoba Métis Federation and has family ties throughout the Interlake of Manitoba, which heavily influences her design and research processes. She excels at schematic design, concept rendering and modelling, and design research.

Stuart Cameron

Stuart Cameron has Métis and German ancestry and is a member of the Métis Nation of Saskatchewan. He holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from Guelph University and has degrees in Business Economics from the University of Saskatchewan and in Environmental Design from the University of Manitoba.

Jason Campbell

Jason Campbell has over 15 years of experience in planning and design of buildings at various scales.  Drawing on his prior experience as a healthcare aide and work in the film industry, Jason's approach to his work is influenced by his ability to connect with people. He takes pleasure in collaborating closely with clients to uncover design possibilities for each project. Whether it is small-scale individual discussions or extensive community consultations for major institutional projects, Jason finds fulfillment in every stage of the design process. He is a team player committed to a collaborative process that encourages an open, multi-disciplinary approach to design.

Brock Dueck

Brock Dueck is a designer at the Winnipeg office. He has a variety of hands-on experience with design-build projects including carpentry, landscaping, industrial design, and film prop design. His interest in various scales allows him to be adaptable while working on projects.

During his time working in the FABLab at the University of Manitoba, Brock developed a technical understanding of 3D printers, laser cutters, and CNC machining while working on internal projects and advising students, faculty members, and architecture firms. While at the FABLab he worked alongside Brook McIlroy on the medallions for the Raven Medical Cloud signage project.

Brock completed his Bachelor of Environmental Design with a focus on Landscape Architecture at the University of Manitoba. During his studies, he volunteered as a sustainability representative and student lead for the Warming Huts design competition. He also received awards in the Lyceum Competition and the Barkman Concrete Competition.
