Brook McIlroy Inc. Planning & Urban Design (bmi) provides professional services in planning, urban design and development approvals. Pace Architects (place, architecture, cities, environment) provides professional services in architecture, landscape architecture, and interiors. The bmi/pace studio integrates both practices with a combined professional staff who collaborate as a team on each project. Our staff, consisting of planners, architects and landscape architects is committed to the application of strong urban design principles to all of our work. Each project is approached as a unique challenge involving in-depth consultation with stakeholders and research that informs place-specific solutions.

A principal focus of the bmi/pace practice is its work for both public and private sector clients in the preparation of master plans, campus planning, land use and urban design strategies, design guidelines, site planning, and development approvals. We take many of these projects through to implementation providing detailed programming, space planning, architecture, landscape and interior design services. bmi/pace have extensive experience as project managers coordinating multiple consultants on behalf of our clients.
